The first president of the society was J\u00f3n \u00de\u00f3r Buch. The society acquired a fine bingo machine in 1961, as bingo was a very popular fundraising method for most of the societies.<\/p><p>In 1968, the association purchased the Sn\u00e6land house at 12 Aragata, as a shortage of space had hampered its operations until that time.<\/p><p>Gar\u00f0shorn in H\u00fasav\u00edk is a rehabilitation and outdoor recreation area behind the hospital and nursing home for the elderly in H\u00fasav\u00edk, which was dedicated on September 20, 2003, and Sj\u00e1lfsbj\u00f6rg was among those who helped create the area. A great job has been done there, and in many ways, an unusual one. It&#x27;s easy to play boccia on the large plaza by the ramp. You can let your creativity run wild and set up exhibitions both outdoors and indoors.
