As a participant, you can influence the issues Sj\u00e1lfsbj\u00f6rg advocates for and provide us with valuable information about the most pressing topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sign up for the focus group by sending an email to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:harpa@sjalfsbjorg.is\">harpa@sjalfsbjorg.is<\/a>&nbsp;The email must include the person&#x27;s name and email address. The names of the participants are automatically entered into a drawing, and one lucky winner will receive a gift certificate worth 20,000 kr. after each survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are interested in being in a private Facebook group, ask to join.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/2992019810958003\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How does this work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants in the focus group are sent questions about a specific topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is planned to have one to four surveys a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first survey will focus on health-related topics such as physical activity. For example, we will want to know if anything in particular prevents individuals with mobility impairments from exercising. A great question that it&#x27;s important to get answers to so we can then take action!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes we need the members&#x27; opinions on various accessibility issues. Sometimes we would ask for opinions on government decisions, for example, whether a pension is sufficient, and sometimes we would like to get your opinions on, for example, employment participation and access to the job market, and whether people feel they have good access to education? Sometimes questions are asked about assistive devices.
