There, individuals with mobility impairments and other disabilities had the opportunity to try soccer, basketball, handball, gymnastics, and track and field. In addition to competing in the same sports, a fun program was offered. Participants also had the opportunity to try wheelchair basketball and a special chair that allows individuals with mobility impairments to participate in throwing sports such as bowling and shot put.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201eThese are games for children or anyone who doesn&#x27;t fit into traditional sports activities, and this is the second time the games have been held. We first went last year in Akureyri.\u201c<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">says Valdimar Gu\u00f0mundsson, project manager of &quot;Allir me\u00f0&quot;.
