Medic Alert

MedicAlert in Iceland is part of an international organization that issues a medical alert device for people to wear. The device displays vital information about the wearer's medical conditions and/or disabilities. It provides a direct link to the emergency department of Landspítali, where more detailed information is stored. If a person is unable to communicate for any reason, for example, if they are unconscious, such a badge can be very useful. Please learn more about Medic Alert.
