Minutes of the 2020 National Assembly.

The 2020 National Convention will be held virtually on September 26, 2020.

Agenda pursuant to Article 11 of the bylaws and the board's proposal regarding the gathering restrictions in light of Covid-19.

1. Opening of the annual general meeting at 9:30 AM (coffee from 9:00-9:30 AM).
   1. Appointment of a chair and a secretary.
   2. Ballot presented.
   3. Agenda presented for approval.
2. Admission of new member associations – the matter was postponed until the 2021 General Assembly.
3. Admission of new members with individual membership (a list of names was submitted) – the matter was postponed until the 2021 General Meeting.
4. Reports and annual statements
   1. The board's report for the last calendar year was presented and discussed – data was presented and briefly discussed.
   2. The revised annual report of Sjálfsbjörg for the last year was presented, discussed, and approved.link to report item a and b)
   3. Reports of member associations – the agenda item postponed until the 2021 General Meeting.
   4. The report and annual financial statements for Sjálfsbjörg's nursing and rehabilitation for the past year were presented – the data were submitted, but the meeting was postponed until the 2021 National Convention.(link to report)
5. Budget presented, discussed, and settled for the current year and the next year.
6. Decision on the annual fee.
7. Conclusions, policies and campaigns were presented, discussed, and resolved.
8. Legislative amendments introduced, discussed, and passed.Proposals for legislative amendments and Explanatory note)
9. Proposal for the renaming of the Self-Help Home (link to document).

11. Other matters.
    1. Status of site development – litigation.
12. Adjournment of the general assembly. Scheduled for 2:00 PM.

After the meeting was adjourned, Thorkell Sigurlaugsson made the following statement: I would like to request that the chairperson enter into the minutes of the annual general meeting an expression of gratitude to Thorsteinn Fr. Sigurðsson for his work for the association, and wish him a continued good recovery. I would also like it noted in the minutes our appreciation for the work of Thordis Rúnar Thórisdóttir this past year, and for her management of the members' annual reports, which were of high quality in every respect.
