One of Sjálfsbjörg's main sources of income is the organization's raffles. We hold two raffles annually: one at the beginning of summer, with the drawing on Midsummer's Eve, June 24th, and the other at the end of the year, with the drawing on December 31st.
The lottery tickets are sent to a specific target group each time. Additionally, the tickets are sent to recipients' online banking as an optional payment option, allowing them to pay for the ticket through their bank. The payment reference number is the ticket number of the respective party. Proceeds from the sale of the lottery tickets are used for Sjálfsbjörg's advocacy work.
