The Sjálfsbjörg website now has an accessibility feedback button. It is located at the top, under the Sjálfsbjörg logo. There, you can submit feedback to each municipality regarding accessibility that needs improvement. People are encouraged to use the button and not be shy about sending in feedback on accessibility issues, which is extremely important to all of us.
Most or all municipalities now have accessibility officers, so it's good for people to send their accessibility feedback directly to them regarding their local area.
Accessibility Suggestion
Some municipalities have a feedback page that you fill out according to their individual instructions. Others just provide an email address to submit feedback. It's a good idea to label the email clearly. For example: "Suggestion for the Accessibility Officer" in the subject line. Below that, include a description of what could be improved. It's best to include a photo along with the location of the item that needs fixing. Good luck to us all in improving accessibility for everyone. Accessibility is a human right.
