- Vacuum and mopping robot are convenient devices that can make it easier for people with limited mobility to vacuum and mop. They are available in most electronics stores.

The garden
Here are ideas for designing the garden to accommodate people with mobility impairments. Suggestions for other features that help people with disabilities care for their garden are welcome.

Several stores offer shopping carts that can be attached to wheelchairs. The stores we have received information from are:

Clothing for people with disabilities – wheelchair users
There are no known local tailor shops that specialize in sewing or modifying clothing for people with disabilities, and any information on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
Again, such sewing studios are widespread abroad and can be found on the internet. Here are a few specific ones that sell clothing tailored to the different needs of people with various disabilities. Unfortunately, we are not aware of any sellers in Iceland selling such clothing, but many tailor shops offer to alter clothing and sew custom garments from scratch.

Cycling gloves and grip gloves
For people with limited grip or strength in their hands, it can be helpful to use bike grips or grip gloves. They are available from Support. Bike gloves are available in most sporting goods stores.

Restroom fixtures
Hjúki Ltd. is a company that specializes in bathroom solutions for the elderly and people with disabilities. Hjúki was founded in 2018 and initially focused on the sale, installation, and service of raised toilet seats and other solutions for people with limited mobility.
Since the company was founded, other great solutions have also been added that can be very useful for people with mobility impairments. For example, there are adapted bathroom cabinets, raised toilets, and wall-mounted toilet brushes.
