We are in the midst of preparing for the Reykjavik Marathon. This time, we are raising money for renovations and repairs to Sjálfsbjörg's club facilities in the capital region. Unfortunately, water leaked in through the windows, causing damage to the ceiling and wall paneling. Therefore, the association needs to carry out renovations so that its social activities can resume as soon as possible. Many who attend the social activities, soup, and fellowship don't go out much, so the clubhouse is important for people who might otherwise become isolated. The hall rental is also a source of income for the organization. Registration is still open for anyone who wants to run in support of Sjálfsbjörg.
