Sjálfsbjörg and ÖBÍ have had a conversation with Icelandia about the accessibility of the Airport Bus for people who use wheelchairs and have brought forward points that it would be important to improve.
The suggestions were well received, and Icelandia has already made changes to the service.
Among the changes is that:
• The booking deadline has been shortened to 48 hours
• stops have been added in Hamburg, Gardabae and Hafnarfjordur
• It has been confirmed that the buses have both wheelchair fastener and passenger seat belt
