Today, September 4th at 3:30 PM, ÖBÍ Rights Association and the Department of Leisure and Association Studies at the University of Iceland will host the event "Outdoor Activities for All" at the Human Rights House. There, Dr. TA Loeffle will discuss outdoor activities from various perspectives, with a focus on what can be done to make them accessible for all of us.
Dr. TA Loeffler is a professor of Outdoor Education and Recreation at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is known worldwide for her academic work, adventure, and conservation, and is also a respected teacher, author, and lecturer. She is the recipient of the Recreation Newfoundland and Labrador Bridging the Gap Award, which is presented to individuals or organizations that have promoted increased participation and inclusion of people with disabilities in recreation, sport, and activity.
