The annual national convention of Sjálfsbjörg LSH was held on April 25-26. On the first day, a new strategy was presented and approved, which the organization had been working on since the last convention. On the second day, new comprehensive bylaws for Sjálfsbjörg LSH were approved and took effect immediately. A resolution regarding assistive devices was passed, and new people were elected to the board. For the national association's board, elections were held for the positions of vice president and secretary. Jón Heiðar Jónsson was a candidate for vice president and Helga Magnúsdóttir was a candidate for secretary, and they were elected by acclamation.
