One life course, countless connections is the title of an open consultation forum about National Plan of Action for the Implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The conference will be held on February 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grand Hotel in Reykjavik. This is the third consultation held in connection with the national plan.
This year's conference will seek to map services for people with disabilities throughout their lives and how connections between parties can be established and strengthened. The status of the measures that began in 2024 will be reviewed, and an awareness campaign about the status and rights of people with disabilities will be launched. Inga Sæland, Minister of Social Affairs and Housing, will deliver a speech at the conference.
Everyone is welcome while space allows, but participants are kindly requested to register in advance.
