Mountain community has offices at both Olafsfjordur and on Siglufjörður and strives to offer residents of the municipality the most equitable services. The mayor is based in Siglufjörður but has a regular office hour in Ólafsfjörður on Wednesdays. Other staff travel between the locations as needed.
