Westfjords

The eight municipalities in the Westfjords form Westfjords Association. The Regional Association is an alliance of the municipalities and an advocate. It is a voluntary association, but it is not legally mandated. The association's purpose is to advance the interests of the Westfjords municipalities and the entire Westfjords region. The association monitors and advocates on municipal affairs, wherever they may be under discussion.
