Vesturbyggð is a municipality on the southern part of the Westfjords. The settlement cores that are part of Vesturbyggð include Birchmouse á Battle Coast, Bíldudalur, Tálknafjörður and Patreksfjörður and the villages Battle Coast, Breidavík, Henvik, Ketildalir, Cowards, Red Sand and South Fjords.
